Blockhouse | Life is dedicated to the future of modular, efficient and affordable housing. Using the experience of developing Blockhouse | Life - Perry, we are uncovering the best materials, practices and processes for accomplishing this goal. As our working prototype, Blockhouse | Life - Perry is an opportunity to begin taking action while also learning from the process. Our building materials, consisting primarily CLT, will reduce costs of construction and environmental impact while increasing adaptability. As we strive toward pre-manufactured units, assembly and construction times will be drastically reduced and become highly efficient. As a result, we will be able to reduce costs that otherwise limit affordable housing prices for tenants.
